Lake Oshinensen

This time we planned our day better and an actual time to be out of the house. I did NOT feel great the night before and wasn't feeling 100% this morning either so I was dragging my feet and eating plain breakfast. Hopefully it will go away today. Justin and Alexis decided to stay behind today and explore Murren or just have some down time while the rest of us drove to Lake Oshinensen (oshinensee). We rode the gondola up from the parking lot in Oschinensen which was a little steep but pleasant. From the top we hiked down a bit to the actual lake. You wouldn't have suspected there was a lake there from the top! It makes me think about these explorers who found this stuff. Once we made it to the bottom the lake was mostly that cool green but with some darker brown. The "sand" there was very dark Grey and not loose like Florida sand at all. Like stuck together mud. The stuff you feel under your feet in the lakes of S.C. the walk back up sucked because it was almost straight up hill, BUT it didn't take us too long to get back to the car. My crew decided we were done and needed to rest before tomorrow's drive to Zurich and then our flight. Monica and Kevin went on to Grindlewald and possible Baschalpsee (or something like that). After looking at some souvenir shops in Murren, we went and rested and hung out with alexis back at the airbnb. When monica and kevin came back home, we heated up pizza from the grocery store. The boys finished Gladiator movie while I sewed and hung out with Monica and Alexis. I started to feel bad again so I went to my room and fell asleep. I've been having this evening fever sort of. I feel oddly hot and cold but not freezing and I can tell it's different from a normal flu. Then I wake up and feel normal. I think its my body saying I've run it too hard and need to stop
